Admission Guidelines

Registration for the 2012-2013 school year at Trinity Preschool of Berwyn is underway. Currently enrolled students and families were able to register starting on November 14, 2011. Registration for new families began at the Open House on November 16, 2011.

Trinity Preschool admits children regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.

All prospective applicants must meet the Program age requirements below, fill out a registration application, and pay a $75 non-deductible, non-refundable application fee. The $60 registration fee for the Moms & Tots Program is applicable towards tuition.

Waitlist Policy

All registrations are dated as they are received. If a class is full, waitlisted registration forms will be kept in the order in which they are received. If an opening occurs, families will be contacted from the waitlist. If no opening occurs in your requested class, the registration fee will be refunded in mid-October.

Class choices should be indicated and mutually agreed upon by you and Trinity Preschool's Director.

Moms & Tots Program

The Moms & Tots Program is open to children 16-24 months of age by September 1st of the year of entry. Classes are offered on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:15-10:30 AM or 10:30-11:45 AM.

2's Program

The 2's Program is open to children age 2 by September 1st of the year of entry. Classes are offered Tuesday & Thursday (AM & PM*), and Monday, Wednesday, Friday (AM). Children need not be potty trained. Diapers will be changed.

3's Program

The 3's Program is open to children age 3 by September 1st of the year of entry. Classes are offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday (AM) and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (AM & PM*). Children must be potty trained.

Young 4's Program

The Young 4's Program is open to children age 3 years, 6 months to 3 years, 11 months by September 1st of the year of entry. Classes are offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday (AM) and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (AM). Children must be potty trained.

Pre-K Program

The Pre-K Program is open to children age 4 years by September 1st of the year of entry. Classes are offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (AM) and Monday-Friday (AM).

All children in a school program benefit from learning with children of different abilities. Trinity Preschool welcomes children with special needs and will do our best to meet their specific needs.

To best serve the needs of children with special learning needs or disabilities, Trinity Preschool asks that parents involve us in the IEP process, and communicate openly with Trinity Preschool's Director and teachers. The most current IEP, IFSP or learning plan needs to be on file in the office at Trinity Preschool. An information form needs to be on file for all TSS personnel or aides, and they need to sign-in with the office on a daily basis.

Trinity Preschool respects the privacy of all of our students and families. Staff will not discuss any other child or family with anyone outside or inside of the school without permission. All student records are locked in the office at Trinity Preschool and may be viewed only by the child's teacher and Trinity Preschool's Director. If information is requested from an outside agency, parents will be asked to give signed permission for access to any records.
