Trinity Preschool of Berwyn

Trinity Preschool of Berwyn
is a friendly, nurturing and fun place to learn. For over 40 years we have been dedicated to educating preschoolers. In addition to providing a great place to go to preschool, there are many other things that “set us apart”. We have listed some of them.

NAEYC ACCREDITATION AND
PRIVATE ACADEMIC SCHOOL LICENSE

Trinity is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children NAEYC. Our accreditation required implementing rigorous and explicit national standards for serving children birth through kindergarten. Trinity is one of only two local Preschools to be awarded this accreditation.  In addition, Trinity has a Private Academic School License from the Commonwealth of PA.

OUR TEACHERS
Trinity Preschool of Berwyn employs an excellent, experienced, dedicated and caring teaching staff all of whom are certified in Early Childhood Education.

LOCATION
We are located in the “heart” of downtown Berwyn on the corner of Waterloo and Berwyn Avenues. One of the great advantages to our location is that we attract children who will attend one of the 5 elementary schools in the T/E district as well as the neighboring private and parochial schools. Many of our pre-k students leave our school knowing several children who will be in their kindergarten.
PLAY
Trinity emphasizes a play-based academic program. For physical development we have a brand new, state of the art outdoor playground and a large, indoor play area where children can run and ride trikes and climb, even in the winter!

PROGRAM VARIETY
• We provide separate gym and music/drama classes for all age levels.
• We offer the choice of attending morning or afternoon classes, at all age levels.
• We are one of the few schools that offer a 2's program in which we DO change diapers!
• We offer convenient lunch and extended day programs M-F.
• We have AM & PM Enrichment classes.
• We offer a fun filled Mom and Tots program.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Our children participate in several community programs including assisting the Frederick Douglass School in Chester, PA. We have an ongoing partnership with the Easttown Library and are active in the Reading is Fundamental (RIF) program.

ANNUAL SPECIAL EVENTS
Some of the events include Dinosaur Day, Donuts for Dad, Holiday Music Programs, Mother's Day Tea, Spring Carnival, Career Day, Pajama Day, Dr. Seuss Day, special visitors and field trips.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT & COMMUNICATION
There are numerous ways to become involved at Trinity. We have an active homeroom parent and volunteer group, a Parent Coffee, a Spring Social, and a parent run Board of Directors. We keep our families informed with a monthly newsletter from the Director and staff, as well as parent/teacher conferences twice yearly. The Parent Organization Chair Person coordinates all parent activities.
