Setting Us Apart Trinity Preschool of Berwyn is a friendly, nurturing and fun place to learn. For over 40 years, Trinity Preschool has been dedicated to educating preschoolers. There are numerous things that “set us apart” from other preschools: NAEYC Accreditation & Private Academic School License Trinity Preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC's voluntary accreditation system sets professional standards for early childhood education programs, and helps families identify high-quality programs for their young children. Trinity Preschool's accreditation requires continual compliance with rigorous and explicit national standards for early childhood education. In addition, Trinity Preschool has a Private Academic School License from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the 3's, 4's and Pre-K programs. PlayTrinity Preschool emphasizes a play-based academic program. For physical development, Trinity Preschool is equiped with a brand new, state-of-the-art outdoor playground and a large, indoor play area where children can run, ride trikes and climb...even in the winter! Program Variety ~ Gym & music classes Community Outreach Programs Trinity Preschool students and families have participated in several community programs, including: assisting the Frederick Douglass School in Chester, PA, the Caring Cupboard program, St. Jude’s Trike-a-Thon, Shoes 2 Share shoe drive, and a 5K Family Run/Walk for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. Trinity Preschool also has an ongoing partnership with the Easttown Library. Parent Involvement & Communication There are numerous ways to become involved at Trinity Preschool - in fact, it's encouraged! Trinity Preschool has an active homeroom parent and volunteer group, Parent Coffees, Parent Socials, and a parent-run Board of Directors. Trinity Preschool keeps our families well-informed with a monthly printed newsletter from the Director and staff, consistent e-mail communications, a special "Parents" page on the web site, a takehome folder and bookbag for daily correspondence, homeroom parents to help facilitate class-specific communication, hallway bulletin boards with updates, news and community events, and formal parent/teacher conferences twice yearly. *PM class offerings determined by enrollment
